Do you provide recipes and shopping lists?
Yes and no. I do include links to some of my family’s favorite recipes, but I do not provide done-for-you meal plans with shopping lists. Here’s why: I think these types of services work in the short run, but they are not sustainable long term. You NEED to know how to meal plan. Meal planning services only end up making your life more difficult.
“Give a mom a meal plan and you feed her family for a week. Teach her how to meal plan and you feed her family for a lifetime.” – Me
What tools do I need to meal plan?
I recommend the app Plan To Eat*. The guide teaches the material using Plan To Eat, but you can take the concepts and apply them to ANY app you like! Or you can do it all by paper and on the computer – no app necessary (it just takes longer). I suggest having a printer and paper, a binder and paper protective sleeves, and a pencil with a really great eraser!

Who is Meal Planning Secrets for?
I’m of the opinion that everyone can benefit from it, even if you’ve been meal planning for decades and you love to cook. With that being said, Meal Planning Secrets is definitely for you if…
- Cooking and planning for it are not your favorite things.
- You’re an on-the-go mom and not a stay-at-home mom.
- You want more time to do other things.
- You don’t have the pantry space to buy food in bulk.
- You don’t have room in your freezer to store dozens of make-ahead meals.
- Your pantry is filled with long-forgotten, expired foods.
- Your freezer is where food goes to die.
- You’re tired of wasting food and money each week buying things you don’t eat.
Now it’s my turn to ask you some questions…
If all this did was give you more time with your family, would it be worth it?
If all this did was give you more money to put toward activities with your friends, would it be worth it?
If all this did was help you plan to eat healthier and crush your wellness goals, would it be worth it?
If all this did was give you momentum to gain control of other areas of your life, would it be worth it?
